The Akron 1400 Series includes a wide range of configurations, offering manual-type adjustable machines, pneumatic adjustable work units, or full servo electronic adjustable working units. Pre-milling and high-speed four-position corner rounding units are also available. For optimum flexibility, the 1400s can be customized with a number of different options. Standard features include operator-friendly controls, manual or color touch-screen control system, high-powered HSD Rotax electro-spindle motors and “quick-change” glue applicator.

The Akron 1400 series of automatic single-sided edgebanders is a line of affordable, compact machines designed for shops with small to mid-sized production and offer many of the functions typically found on our upper-range edgebanders.
